Aldermore

When it comes to disruption, it doesn’t get much more disruptive than launching a bank during the recession. Having evolved its offer from SME lending to customer savings and mortgages products, Aldermore needed help redefining its purpose and connecting with an increasingly diverse customer base.

With the aim of putting the customer back at the heart of the business, we spoke to a hundreds of customers and prospects to better understand their needs and motivations. Through this process, we identified a unifying trait across the customers we called the ‘go-getting spirit’, and we looked to inject this go getting spirit into everything Aldermore did. Bravely captured by the idea of ‘Banking for the Bold’, we transformed Aldermore’s brand identity, tone of voice, online experience and completely revamped their comms model and marketing to help establish Aldermore as a trusted bank.

Using this “go getter spirit” we developed the creative idea based around the “more” in Aldermore. We called our visual language Corporate Punk.
